I live a creative life! As an artist/designer I am constantly expanding my creativity. Always exploring different art mediums and techniques to keep my art and design projects fresh! Art is a passion I enjoy sharing with others! Creating art can be so beneficial to every human. It is an opportunity to explore your creative side, relax and enjoy something new or continue your journey as an artist. My classes are designed to help students explore a variety of art materials, techniques, and creative approaches—tailored to their age and/or skill level. Class sizes are kept small (max. 6) so every student gets personal attention.

YOUTH ART CLASSES
I have been working with a variety of aged home school kiddos for over 14 years. My approach is to expose the students to a variety of different art mediums via a variety of different projects. The younger classes pretty much produce a project in a class. The older artists typically work on projects over a few classes and I try to accommodate their interests while exposing them to different art mediums through a variety of projects.

ADULT ART CLASSES
Similar to my approach with the younger students, my approach is to share my passion for art. The adult classes offer and opportunity to learn something new or improve you art skills. Classes range from multi week 2 hour classes in a specified subject, one night small group workshops or group paint night gatherings.

CLASS OPTIONS
Choose the day and time that works best for your schedule.
Each time listed below represents a separate weekly class. Classes are multi-age, with a maximum of 6 students. Whenever possible, students are grouped with others of similar ages and abilities.

ART ADVENTURE - For students ready for a more advanced art experience.
Art Adventure offers longer class time for students who are ready to develop their skills through more focused, in-depth projects.

YOUTH CLASS FEES*

(5-week sessions. Price is per session)
1 hr class – $100 Introductory–Intermediate level. Typically a new project each week.
1½ hr class – $125 Advanced. For students with strong skills, working on challenging projects tailored to their interests.

(6-week sessions. Price is per session)

1 hr class – $120 | 1½ hr class – $150

Sibling Discount: 5% off per sibling per session.

POLICIES

CLASS SIZE:
Maximum 6 Students per class (depending on age & ability)
PAYMENT:
Due On or before the first class (unless otherwise arranged)
Methods: Cash, check (payable to Sundius Design), or credit card (fees may apply)
Education Financial Account (EFA) – Vendor on ClassWallet (Artistic Exploration - Artist, Marilee Sundius - Sundius Design). ALL registered participants will receive an emailed invoice from me/Sundius Design prior to the start of the session. EFA participants can submit to ClassWallet for payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to required class preparation, I have developed the following refund policies.
Student Withdrawal - A full refund, less a $25 cancellation fee, will be given to students who withdraw from a class at least 3 days before it begins. No portion of the tuition paid will be refunded after the first class of the session.
Notification of Withdrawal - must be made via email, artistic.exploration51@gmail.com or phone, 603-279-1255. Cancellation due to medical concerns will be considered for possible refund. The opportunity to make up a missed class(s) – limited to one class per session, due to illness or personal reasons will be considered. There will be No refunds or credits for missed classes, unless prior notification has been given and arranged.
Cancellation of Classes - If a class is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, students will be notified prior to the start date and will receive a full refund.
Weather, Unforeseen Cancellation, or Delay - In case of inclement weather or other unforeseen events, Marilee Sundius will reach out via text message or email to notify you of class cancellation or delay.

If classes are canceled due to weather or any unforeseen circumstance, Marilee Sundius will do her best to reschedule canceled class(es) on the next available date - in most cases, the class will be extended by one week. If for some reason a class cannot be rescheduled, participants will receive a refund for the canceled class(es) or a credit that can be used towards another session/class within one year of the date of issue.

STUDENT BEHAVIOR
Students are expected to respect both their fellow participants and the instructor to ensure a positive, productive, and enjoyable class environment. While socializing is welcome, students must be able to sit or stand attentively, listen to instructions, and demonstrate interest in completing the day’s project. The goal is to foster a fun, creative experience where everyone can focus, participate fully, and complete their work.

OTHER
Food & Drink - Some classes may include food and non alcoholic beverage. Please make me aware of any allergies.
Art Material Sensitivity - Please make your instructor aware of any materials based sensitivities.
PARKING: there is plenty of street parking and a public lot near my location. The attached lot in back is for tenants only
Adult Classes - Most classes listed as adult can include an accompanying teen. BYOB - For most adult classes, participants may bring their own beverage.

FALL 2026 ADULT ART OFFERINGS

ADULT Art Exploration. A guided open studio where you can explore different art mediums through a variety of projects.

Tuesdays: 6:00 PM - 8:00 pm (Ongoing, email me to join)

FEE: $35 per class, $120 (4)class pack

Give it a Try Series. These classes are selected projects chosen to introduce you to the medium being used. Also a great class to practice and improve your skills. This is an adult class but open to students 17+ an art aptitude.

Wednesdays: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

October 7, 14 & 21 – Drawing with a variety of mediums – graphite, colored pencil, pastel. FEE: $100

October 28 & Nov. 4 – Acrylic Painting FEE: $75

November 11, 18 & Dec. 2 – Oil Painting FEE: $100

All Three Session: $240
